THE STAR E-NEWSLETTER UPDATE

We are excited to commence Term 3 with a new mobile-friendly version of The Star E-Newsletter.

With over 60% of our families viewing the website and newsletter on a mobile device, it was time for the College to transition to this new format to provide an easier and enhanced experience to read the weekly issues.

The aim of The Star E-Newsletter is to provide regular and central communication to students, families and staff, informing the community of the many vibrant activities that take place weekly at the College, as well as providing information on important news and events, student achievements and community notes.

The refined experience will enable readers to view the e-newsletter on a mobile or tablet device, they will be able to choose the sections they would like to read or can even choose to read a scrollable version which compiles the full publication in one stream.

Not only is The Star E-Newsletter an important information repository for reading about the richness and diversity of College life at St Michael’s, but it provides a formal update to ensure families are informed with current information. We urge all families and staff members to read each issue of The Star E-Newsletter.

We hope you enjoy this new experience of The Star!

Ms Olivia Peressin – Communications and Community Relations Coordinator

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT ACCIDENT PROTECTION FOR STUDENTS

Did you know that your child is protected by our Student Accident Policy?

Every day there are accidents involving children. To assist parents with costs associated with those accidents, we have a School Accident Insurance Policy provided by Aon.  The School Accident policy provides protection to all students attending our school.

The accidental death and bodily injury cover provide lump-sum benefits whilst students are engaged in school or organised sporting activities. Lump-Sum Benefits includes cover for death, disablement, broken bones, and damaged teeth. Ambulance cover is also provided.

If you have any questions please call Sean McCormack at Aon on 08 8301 1123, or you can visit the website at www.aon.com.au.
