The Primary Campus, located at Beverley, is the learning environment for students in Reception to Year 6. From January 2021 the Primary Campus will move from single-sex (boys) to co-education. Girls will be introduced into Reception classes in 2021 and by 2027 St Michael’s College will be a fully co-educational school from R to 12.
The Campus was founded in 1954 with the school year commencing on 9 February with three teachers – Br Victor Eviston (Director), Br George Kane, Br Ephrem Gilfedder and 29 boys.
Today the Campus has grown to 350 students and 38 staff members.
The Primary Campus is currently undertaking some exciting initiatives, including:

- The recently completed new Nature Play area, providing students with rich play and outdoor learning facilities which complement existing well established Kitchen Garden and Wetlands program.
- From 2019, the College is offering Term 3 mid-year intake for students who have attained the age of five on or before 31 October in that year. For more information on how student learning will be enhanced, please click here.
