We have created this page to consolidate information from St Michael’s College in relation to COVID-19. We will keep this page updated as information becomes available. Our approach is informed by directives from both Federal and State Governments, as well as Catholic Education SA.
CARE FOR STUDENTS OF ESSENTIAL WORKERS
The primary and secondary campuses are essentially closed from Wednesday 21 till Tuesday 27 July inclusive and will only offer supervised care onsite for children of essential workers or children who are deemed vulnerable. A skeleton staff will be on site at each campus to provide this service.
It would be appreciated if families requiring this service to please advise the College via the following contact details:
Secondary families: firstname.lastname@example.org
Primary families: email@example.com
If as an essential worker, your child will be present on any of these days please bring them to the front office so that we can register their attendance.
*We ask that you consider which of the following dates your child/ren will require care at school – we appreciate that this may be difficult to pinpoint during these challenging times and therefore ask you to approximate the days of care and provide us with a daily confirmation email by no later than 3:30 pm the day before to ensure adequate staff are engaged.
If your child/ren requires care beyond 3:20 pm, please ensure they are registered with Extend, our out of school care provider: https://www.extend.com.au/families/find-my-school
