YEAR 7 SAPSASA BASKETBALL CARNIVAL
On Tuesday 20 October, both St Michael’s girls and boys Year 7 basketball teams competed in a carnival at St Clair Recreation Centre. The teams played several games against different schools in Adelaide and all involved showed a great deal of sportsmanship and were encouraging each other and representing the College in a fantastic manner. A big thank you to the parents who were able to help with scoring throughout the day.
All boys competing put in a tremendous effort against some very talented teams, starting the day with three wins and went on to finish 3rd in their pool. It was a standout performances by all of our girls who managed to finish the day undefeated! A massive congratulations to our girls team who won the entire competition and will move on to the championship on 16 November.

GOLF
After many golf events this year were cancelled due to COVID, our St Michael’s College golfers finally played the Teams Stableford Championship at North Adelaide Golf Course on Monday, 19 October. The weather was perfect and we had eight golfers participate on the day. Unfortunately our results were not up to par, but it was great to get back on the course! Our teams placed 5th, 11th and 15th.
