YEAR 12 STUDENTS

SATAC and SACE Information
Students need to have successfully logged in to the ‘SACE students online account’ and reset the password, if required. You must know all login details to access your SATAC account if applying for university and or TAFESA. The SACE website will shut down soon and won’t reopen until the results release day of Monday 13 December. It is very important for students to check login details ASAP as this may result in a delay in accessing information come results day.

  • If you need to notify SACE and SATAC of a change of address, please do so this week.
  • If you are having ongoing problems with logging in, password reset etc. prior to results day, please contact the SACE board on 8115 4900 or email askSACE@sa.gov.au

This coming Tuesday we will be emailing an extensive final careers newsletter to all Year 12 students. If you have not provided a private email address we ask that you email a Careers Counsellor in the next few days with this.

Wednesday 1 December is the final day to pay for your SATAC application and uploaded all necessary information. It is also the day that some courses ,which are flagged in red, may close and not allow an addition to preferences later on with equal consideration.

YEAR 11 STUDENTS PREPARING FOR YEAR 12 2022

Whilst our Year 11 students are well prepared for success as they enter into Year 12, some students may like to consider extra preparation though private tuition companies As such, we provide the links below for your own assessment. NDIS SA/NT PATHWAYS TO POST SCHOOL LIFE INFORMATION SESSION

The National Disability Insurance Agency would like to invite SA/NT students with a disability in Years 10 to 12, as well as their parents/carergivers and education professionals to attend a virtual information session on building skills and paving a pathway to post-school life.

This session will provide an opportunity to discuss NDIS-funded supports and other assistance to help young people to build skills to prepare for their transition, and to support them in the achievement of their employment and other goals, post-school.

NATIONAL YOUTH SCIENCE FORUM (NYSF) 2022

Applications are now open for students who want to be a part of the National Youth Science Forum in 2022.

The NYSF Year 12 program offers an exciting range of in-person and digital science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) experiences for participants across Australia. If you’re a Year 11 student and passionate about STEM, please apply now!

The program will run for 12 days from 10 to 25 January 2022. It will be delivered as a mixed-mode experience – a combination of in-person and digital events. For those who choose not to or who are unable to attend the in-person visits, there will be a range of digital STEM visits across the week. Their digital program has the ability to feature a vast array of speakers from Australia and around the world and will feature STEM experts from many of the in-person locations and beyond.
