St Michael’s College is a Reception to Year 12 Catholic College in the Lasallian tradition. For over 50 years St Michael’s has developed and presented a broad curriculum to meet the varying needs of the families and students of Western Adelaide.

From 2008, girls will be enrolled in Year 8. Gender based classes will be constructed in Years 8 and 9 with Year 10 being a year of transition to the current co-educational structures of Years 11 and 12. A Master Plan for the Henley Campus has been developed to resource this exciting development.

With so much on offer – the academic, the cultural, the social, the vocational, the technological and the sporting – all students at St Michael’s are expected to ‘Be the Best they can Be!’. This focus on personal excellence is developed from Jesus’ Gospel message which urges us to fully utilise our gifts and talents – especially in the service of others.

The De La Salle Brothers were founded in 1680 in France and in 2006 celebrated their Centenary in Australia. The Lasallian message of ‘Faith, Service and Community’ continues to underpin the educational approach of the College such that all students are encouraged to ‘Let their Light Shine!’.
